Hello! Eric here. I’m a seasoned visual designer who leads teams of diverse individuals with a curious, patient, and optimistic approach as we tackle big ideas. Collaboration and intentional design are at the core of my work.
On a personal note, when I'm not in the office you can find me chasing my two young boys around our backyard, in the garage attempting a new woodworking technique, hiking up (and down) a trail, or thumbing through the stacks at a record store.
Thanks for stopping by,

Challenge
Every designer has tough clients. This one happened to be six years old.
The brief sounded simple enough: Create a birthday invitation based on a very specific vision. The catch? My client knew what he wanted, but hadn't mastered the art of creative direction. Translating ideas like "more awesome" into actionable feedback proved to be an unexpectedly rewarding challenge.
Approach
Like any good client project, we started with conversations, sketches, and lots of questions. Through a series of collaborative design reviews (eight, to be exact), we refined the concept, adjusted the details, and navigated feedback that ranged from incredibly specific to delightfully unpredictable.
It was a fun reminder that good design isn't just about creating something that looks great, it's about listening carefully, asking the right questions, and helping someone turn an idea into something they can proudly call their own.
Outcome
The final birthday invitation earned enthusiastic approval from the client, generated plenty of excitement among friends and family, and became one of the most revision-heavy projects I've ever done.
Five stars, would definitely work with this client again.
