Challenge
In 2025, PitchBook's Brand & Creative team set out to evolve the company's visual identity while maintaining the trust and recognition the brand had built over time. The goal was to create an updated, flexible visual system that could scale across marketing channels and better support the company's growing product suite and brand story.
Approach
Our team explored three distinct creative directions, each representing a different evolution of the PitchBook brand. After presenting the concepts to stakeholders across the organization and gathering feedback, we aligned on a single direction that balanced business goals with creative ambition.
Once the refreshed visual system and brand guidelines were established, we developed a launch campaign to introduce the new identity. Throughout the project, we expanded the design system by defining new graphic treatments, motion principles, and animation styles, ensuring the refreshed brand could be applied consistently across a wide range of touchpoints.
Outcome
The final campaign delivered a cohesive suite of creative assets across native, display, social, and CTV channels. The project established a scalable visual language that demonstrated how the refreshed identity could be expressed across different formats, and provided a strong foundation for future campaigns.
